After the Senate passed House Bill 1263 a couple weeks ago, the House recently concurred and sent the bill to the governorâs desk. When this bill is signed into law, it will be a huge win for Mississippi. Sponsored by Rep. Becky Currie, HB 1263 would recognize occupational licenses from other states, making it easier for professionals to move to Mississippi.
As more people become accustomed to working remotely due to COVID-19, the physical location of people performing work is less important than ever before. As physical location no longer presents a barrier in many industries, the competition between states for workers will only intensify. This competition will require a regulatory environment that makes it easy for people to relocate to their state, which HB 1263 would do.

Zenith Energy, the listed international oil & gas production company focused on pursuing African development opportunities, has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary
Zenith Energy Netherlands has signed an extension agreement in respect of the conditional sale and purchase agreement ( SPA ) it signed with
CNPC International (Tunisia),
North Kairouan permit and the
Sidi El Kilani Concession, which includes the
Sidi El Kilani oilfield ( SLK ). For reference, signing of the SPA was announced to the market on
CNPCI holds an undivided 22.5% interest in the Tunisian Acquisition, together with 25 Class B shares in Compagnie Tuniso-Koweito-Chinoise de Pétrole (CTKCP), the operator, representing 25% of the issued share capital of the company.
UK: Equinor receives funding for three low carbon projects across the UK s east coast

All three of
Equinor’s projects to deliver deep cuts in emissions from industries and support clean growth in the north-east of England have received public funding from UK authorities. With a combination of private and public funding,
Equinor and its partners will now progress these projects in order to create the world’s first net zero industrial cluster by 2040.

OKEA reports that hydrocarbons have been observed from logs and cuttings on entering the reservoir in the
Chrysaor-operated Jerv exploration well (15/12-25), and coring will now be initiated according to plan. The reservoir operations are at an early stage, and final results are not yet available.
PL973 is south of the Grevling discovery operated by OKEA.

Oman: Masirah Oil completes upgrade of Yumna field process facilities

Masirah Oil has announced completion of the upgrade to the
Yumna field process facilities, which has more than doubled the liquid handling capacity on the Mobile Offshore Production Unit (MOPU) to
30,000 barrels per day.
Following the upgrade, the Yumna field has been tested steadily over the last week at rates of 20,000 barrels of oil per day. The production rate will be regularly optimised and has now been choked back in accordance with the reservoir management plan, aimed at maximising recovery from the field.
